Last Updated: February 1, 2026 • Version 1.9

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UnitConvert Hub (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website or its associated computation tools.

2. Professional Engineering & Construction Disclaimer

UnitConvert Hub provides mathematical conversion formulas, thermodynamic models, and construction estimating calculators (including the Cubic Yard and Concrete Volume Calculators) for educational, informational, and general estimation reference only.

Notice to Contractors, Surveyors & Engineers: Real-world structural loads, soil compaction, sub-grade variations, atmospheric pressures, local frost depths, and building code specifications must be verified by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), registered Architect, or qualified construction contractor prior to ordering materials, pouring structural footings, or fabricating critical aerospace/mechanical assemblies.

3. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall UnitConvert Hub, its authors, editors, or operators be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use this site—including but not limited to concrete short-load fees, structural material failure, project delays, or numerical rounding discrepancies.

4. Intellectual Property & Citation

All original articles, educational guides, interactive interface designs, and bespoke algorithmic implementations are protected by copyright law. You may cite excerpts from our metrology guides for educational or non-commercial research purposes provided clear attribution is linked back to UnitConvert Hub.

5. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to refine, enhance, or adjust unit definitions, conversion factors, and mathematical models at any time to preserve alignment with the latest BIPM, NIST, and ISO metrological publications.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
